Privacy and Your Data
The calculators on this site run in your browser, and the numbers you type into them are never sent to a server.
Calculators and the numbers you enter
The calculators run in your browser, and the numbers you enter stay there. Position size, margin and pip values are computed on your own device, so a gold position you are testing at 4275.0 is never transmitted to us or stored on a server.
That means we cannot see what you calculated, and we could not reconstruct it if asked. It also means the arithmetic is only as good as the inputs, so check the contract details with your broker before acting on a result.
Your rights over data held about you and the steps to exercise them
You can ask what data the site holds about you, request correction or deletion, and object to analytics or affiliate tracking; because the site holds almost no personal data, most requests resolve quickly. To make a request, use the contact address on the site and describe what you want, such as deletion of an email you sent or confirmation that no calculator inputs are stored. The site will respond within the period required by applicable UAE data protection rules.
For data held by the broker after you open an account, the request goes to FxPro, not to this site, because the broker is the controller of that account data. The site can confirm whether a click was attributed but cannot delete a broker account record or change a broker's marketing preferences. If your request concerns a cookie set by the broker's tracking system, clearing it in your browser is the direct step, and the broker's privacy notice explains its own retention.
You also have the right to withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie banner or browser settings, and to use the calculators without following a broker link. The site does not sell personal data and does not use calculator inputs to make automated decisions about you. If you believe a request has not been handled correctly, you can raise it with the relevant UAE authority after contacting the site first.
Retention periods, deletion triggers and how long logs last
Server logs that record page requests and outbound clicks are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider, after which they are deleted or overwritten automatically; the exact period depends on the host's log rotation and is not a fixed number published here. Calculator inputs are not retained on the server at all, so there is no retention period for them. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer the query and for a reasonable record afterwards.
Affiliate click records held by the broker follow the broker's retention schedule, not this site's, and the broker's privacy notice states how long it keeps tracking data. Preference cookies expire on the schedule set when they are created, and you can delete them earlier by clearing browser storage. The site does not keep a backup of your calculator history, so clearing your browser removes the only copy.
Deletion is triggered by log rotation on the server, by cookie expiry in your browser, and by a request you make by email for correspondence to be removed. There is no account to close because the site has no registration. If you want to remove affiliate tracking immediately, clear the broker's cookies in your browser; the site cannot delete a cookie that a broker's domain has set.
Data the site holds on its own servers and data it never receives
The site stores only what is needed to run a calculator page and keep a record of affiliate clicks; it does not hold your name, email, phone number, trading account credentials or funding details on its own servers. Anything you type into a calculator stays in your browser unless you follow a broker link, and the site has no database table for personal trading information. The only server-side record is a log of outbound clicks to broker partners, which is described in the affiliate section below.
The site does not store your IP address in a form linked to a calculator session, does not keep a copy of the numbers you type, and does not receive your broker account number or password. If you contact the site by email, that message and reply are kept in the mailbox, but that is separate from ordinary browsing. In the UAE, where bank transfer and card funding are common, the site never sees your AED transfer reference or card details because those steps happen on the broker's own platform.
What the site does not store is deliberate: no account registration, no saved calculation history, no profile of your trading experience. The site is built as a reference tool for gold (XAU/USD) sizing and cost checks, so the useful output is the calculation you see on screen, not a copy held remotely. If you clear your browser storage, the site has no other copy of your calculator inputs to restore.
What the site keeps on its own servers and the short list of things it never receives
The site keeps only what it needs to run the calculators and count visits: the figures you type into a tool while your session is open, a record that a page was viewed, and the cookie choices you set. It does not keep a profile of you, and it does not build a history of which gold positions you priced. Anything you type into an XAU/USD calculator is processed to produce the margin or pip value you asked for, and the result is shown back to you in the browser; the site does not store the position size, the entry price or the account balance alongside your identity.
What the site never receives is the more useful list. It does not receive your trading account number, your broker login, your password, your Emirates ID, your bank details, your card number or your funding history with any broker. It does not receive your actual open positions, your equity or your profit and loss, because it has no connection to your trading account at all. A calculator that asks for a lot size and a price is working from what you type on the page, not from a feed of your account. If a page ever asked for a broker password, that would be a reason to stop.
The split matters for a reader in the UAE because the numbers people usually worry about are the ones tied to money: AED balances, local bank transfer details and card numbers. None of those are collected here. What is held is technical and thin, and it sits with the site rather than with the broker. The broker relationship is separate and governed by the broker's own documents, including the entity that serves the UAE, FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., and its licensing as stated: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA.
Affiliate tracking in plain terms: what is recorded and what is not
Affiliate tracking records that a visit to a broker came from this site, so the broker can attribute the click; it does not record your trading results, your account balance or your identity. When you follow a broker link, the broker's tracking system may set a cookie and log the click with a site identifier and a timestamp. The site receives aggregate reports such as number of clicks, not a list of named individuals or their deposits.
The site does not receive your funded account value, your AED bank transfer details or your gold position size from the broker. Affiliate reports are used to understand which pages lead readers to open an account, and they are not combined with calculator inputs. Because the broker, not the site, holds the account relationship, any question about what the broker records after you sign up is answered by that broker's own privacy notice.
Clicking a broker link is optional and the calculators work without it. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can open the broker's site directly in a new tab instead of using a link here, or block affiliate cookies in your browser. The site does not pay different rates based on your trading volume and does not receive a share of your losses; the commercial arrangement is a referral payment described in general terms, not a per-trade charge.
Broker cookies and third parties
A broker sets its own cookies under its own policy once you follow a link to its site. That happens on the broker's domain, not ours, and the broker is the party that decides what it stores and why, including any affiliate tracking.
Read the broker's privacy and cookie notices before you open an account, particularly if you are funding from a UAE bank. For FxPro, the UAE-serving entity is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., and FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA; its own documents set out how it handles your data.
How affiliate tracking works here, in plain terms, and what it does not record
Affiliate tracking records one thing: that a visit to a broker came from a link on this site. When you follow a broker link, a marker travels with the request so the broker can tell that the referral came from here. It does not record your name, your email, your trading account number, your deposit amount, your AED balance or your trading results. The site does not receive a statement of what you did after you arrived at the broker, and it does not receive a list of who signed up. What it may receive is an aggregate signal that a referral happened.
The practical consequence is that following a broker link does not tell this site who you are. It also does not change what you are offered by the broker: the account terms, the leverage cap and the costs come from the broker and from the rules that apply to you, not from the link you clicked. Leverage available to UAE readers is up to 1:500 on standard forex accounts, within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits and varying by instrument, and that is a cap rather than a target. Nothing about a referral marker alters it.
A reader who wants no affiliate tracking at all has a clean option: type the broker's address directly into the browser instead of using a link on this site, or decline the optional cookies and clear existing ones. Either approach removes the marker. The trade-off is simply that the site does not get credited for the visit. Trading itself remains high risk regardless of how you arrive, and the margin figure used on this site is illustrative: at 1:500 on standard forex accounts, within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits and varying by instrument, a 0.10-lot XAU/USD position needs about $85.50 margin.
Traffic counting and local storage
We count traffic only in aggregate, so we can tell how many people read a page, not who they were. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not sell reader data.
Local storage in your browser holds your own preferences, such as a setting you chose on a calculator, so the page behaves the same way when you return. That storage sits on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Which third parties can see a request from your browser and what each of them learns
A request from your browser can be seen by a short, identifiable set of parties: the company that hosts the site's pages, the provider that counts traffic, any affiliate network attached to a broker link you follow, and the broker itself once you click through. A hosting provider sees the technical request needed to return a page. A traffic-counting provider sees that a page was opened. An affiliate network sees that a referral occurred. The broker sees the visit to its own site and whatever you choose to do there under its own privacy notice.
What each of them learns is limited to the request itself and whatever you type on their pages. None of them receives your calculator inputs from this site, because those stay in your browser. None of them receives your trading account credentials, because this site never has them. The broker's own notice is the document that governs what happens after you land on its pages, and for UAE readers the relevant entity is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., with the licensing position stated as: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. That statement describes the licence, not a guarantee of outcomes.
Third parties change over time, and the honest position is that the list is descriptive rather than permanent. If the site changes host, counting provider or affiliate relationships, the categories above stay the same in kind even where the company name differs. What does not change is the boundary: a third party sees a request from your browser, not the contents of this site's calculators and not your broker account. If you use a local UAE bank transfer to fund a broker account, that transaction happens entirely inside the broker's systems and your bank's, and this site is not a party to it.
Cookie types on this site and the job each one does
The site uses three kinds of cookies: strictly necessary cookies that let the page load and remember your cookie choice, preference cookies that keep a calculator setting such as lot size or account currency between visits, and affiliate cookies set when you click a broker link. Strictly necessary cookies do not depend on consent because the page cannot work without them. Preference and affiliate cookies are described in the banner and can be refused without blocking the calculators.
Preference cookies store only interface choices, such as whether you last used a 0.10-lot or 1.00-lot view, and they expire on a schedule set by the site rather than by a broker. Affiliate cookies are set by the broker's tracking system after you click a link, and their duration is controlled by that broker, not by this site. The site does not set advertising cookies of its own and does not run a cookie that profiles you across other websites for ad targeting.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the page from remembering your consent choice, so the banner may reappear. Blocking affiliate cookies does not stop you from reaching a broker, but it may mean the click is not attributed. The site does not use cookies to store the numbers you type into a calculator; those stay in the page or in local storage as described elsewhere on this page.
The kinds of cookies this site sets and the specific job each one is doing
This site uses a small number of cookie kinds, and each one has a single job. A preference cookie remembers the choices you made on the page, such as whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, so you are not asked again on every visit. A session cookie keeps a calculator working while you move between fields and pages in one sitting, and it expires when that sitting ends. A traffic-counting cookie lets the site know a page was opened so visit numbers can be totalled without identifying who opened it. None of these are used to build an advertising profile of you.
The distinction that matters is essential versus optional. Preference and session cookies are needed for the page to behave the way you expect, which is why they are not switched off by a consent choice. Traffic-counting and any affiliate-related cookie are the optional ones, and they are set only if you allow them. Declining them does not break a calculator and does not block you from reading anything on the site. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings at any time, which resets your saved choices and means the consent prompt will appear again on your next visit.
Cookies set by a broker or by an affiliate network are not this site's cookies, and their purpose is set by whoever issues them. This site does not control how long those last or what they record, and the place to check is the privacy notice of the company that set them. For the broker side, the entity serving UAE readers is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., and the licensing statement to keep in view is: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. Reading that notice is the only reliable way to know what a third-party cookie does.
Third parties that may see a request from your browser
The third parties that may see a request are the hosting provider that serves the page, the analytics service described below, and the broker whose link you click; no other company receives data from ordinary calculator use. The hosting provider processes standard web requests, including IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect against abuse. The analytics service receives a reduced set of page-view data, and the broker receives the click only when you choose to follow a link.
The broker named on the site is FxPro, and the entity that serves the UAE is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. That regulator caveat describes the broker's licensing, not this site's status, and the broker's own privacy notice governs what it collects once you leave this page. The site does not pass your calculator inputs to the broker; the broker sees only what your browser sends when you open its site.
No payment processor, card network or e-wallet provider receives data from this site because the site does not process deposits. Funding methods such as cards (Visa/Mastercard), bank transfer and e-wallets, including local UAE bank transfer, are handled entirely inside the broker's platform. If a third-party font or script were added in future, it would be listed here before it went live, and the change would be announced as described in the final section.
